Cooking Apron That Complements Modern Lifestyles
The traditional cooking apron (kappōgi) was designed to protect kimono from oil, water, and dust during household chores by covering up to the sleeves. Many people, while attracted to its functionality, have avoided it due to concerns about its mismatch with Western clothing.
Nakagawa has therefore created a cooking apron adapted to contemporary lifestyles where Western clothing predominates.

Designed for Stress-Free Comfort
The greatest appeal of a cooking apron is how quickly it can be put on while effectively protecting clothes from dirt. The back neckline features elastic, the back waist has ties for easy removal, and the sleeves include elastic to prevent water and dirt from entering the cuffs. The sleeve length is kept shorter to avoid interfering with tasks, while the body length just covers the buttocks—protecting the upper body from soiling while maintaining ease of movement.

Streamlined Design for Wearing Like Regular Clothing
Designed to be worn over Western clothes rather than kimono, the sleeves and body width are slightly narrower than traditional cooking aprons. The neckline is styled like a boat neck, and the pocket openings are positioned horizontally, creating a clean silhouette.

Available in Three Colors: 'White,' 'Charcoal,' and 'Navy'
Three colors are available: 'White,' 'Charcoal,' and 'Navy.' The two colors besides the classic 'White' are intentionally deeper shades, giving the impression of regular clothing.
