Handling Precautions

Notice

【Before Use】

  • Wash thoroughly with dish detergent before use.
【After Use】
  • Remove dirt but leave some oil residue. Then dry thoroughly and store in a place with low humidity.
  • Leaving dirty after use may cause blue copper compounds or green oxidation (verdigris). If verdigris appears, remove it with a firm sponge, scrubber, or commercial copper polish before use.
  • Verdigris is harmless but may affect taste.
  • Copper products naturally discolor due to material properties, but before they turn completely black, polish with a firm sponge and liquid detergent after use to restore copper's luster.
Handling Precautions
  • During initial use, tin may accumulate in corners. Remove with a toothpick or chopsticks. This is tin, not lead, so it's harmless to humans. Please use with confidence.
  • Copper has excellent heat conductivity, so low to medium heat is sufficient for cooking.
  • With long-term use, the interior tin may peel or thin, but this poses no hygiene risk and can be used safely.
  • Copper products naturally discolor due to material properties, but avoid high heat or dry-heating before they turn completely black, as interior tin may melt and solidify.
  • Do not heat for extended periods when empty as this may cause deformation or softening from heat.
  • Color changes with age, but this is not corrosion or deterioration - it's a characteristic of copper.
