Japan's Traditional Bentwood Craft.
Bentwood Lunch Box represents Japanese traditional craftsmanship, with each piece individually handcrafted. Made from Akita cedar, these bent wood lunch boxes utilise the wood's natural moisture-regulating properties to maintain rice at optimal humidity, preserving flavour and ensuring delicious meals even hours later.

Our collaboration with Odate Craft creates magewappa using an innovative two-piece construction for the sides, rather than the traditional single bent board. This enhanced design significantly increases durability, creating a truly ""lifetime"" lunch box built to last.

Magewappa, a traditional Japanese craft

As a traditional Japanese craft, magewappa are individually handcrafted. Made from Akita cedar, magewappa rice cookers have the moisture-regulating properties of cedar, which helps retain the moisture in the rice and keeps the flavor from escaping, allowing you to eat it deliciously even after a while.

Rice grains do not stick easily and stain-resistant

The inside of the container has been treated to prevent rice grains from sticking, making it easy to handle. It also won't get dirty easily even if you put oily foods or fried rice in it.

Just the right small size

A bento box that can hold one bowl of rice. If you put in a little bit of rice and a little bit of side dish, it can also be used as a small bento. The cute round bento box is easy to fill with ingredients even without a divider, and the finished product fits well.
