Nakagawa Wind Chimes: Experience Each Kogei Region's Character Through Sound and Presence. Takaoka City in Toyama Prefecture has been crafting metalwork since the Edo period. This wind chime utilises the "orin" (singing bowl) techniques from Takaoka copperware, renowned for Buddhist altar fittings. Using a specially formulated copper alloy designed for optimal sound quality, combined with a wooden striker, it creates a clear yet gentle resonance.
Length (excluding hanging cord): 21cm
- Although the surface is coated, be careful as use or storage in areas with moisture or high humidity may cause discoloration or corrosion.
- The character will change over time. Please enjoy this as natural aging.
- When cleaning, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Some blackening, fine scratch-like marks, or stains may be visible on the surface, but please understand this as characteristics of the copper alloy material chosen for sound quality.
