"Hakeme"—brushed lacquer— is a traditional technique where the lacquer craftsperson deliberately leaves brush marks instead of smoothing them out.
The visible brush strokes serve as proof that each piece is hand-painted by an artisan, which is why this technique has long been used for restaurant tableware and tea ceremony implements. The texture created by the brush marks also helps conceal scratches, making these bowls well-suited for daily dining.
Package: φ13.3×8.8cm

- Avoid use in refrigerators.

- The smell of new lacquerware will disappear completely if placed in a rice bin for a few days.
Precautions
