Handling Precautions

Precautions for Use

※Before use, apply mild dishwashing detergent to a sponge and hand wash with lukewarm water.

※Do not place in a microwave, oven, or freezer.

※This is not a heating appliance, so do not place over a fire.

※Do not leave near a strong flame.

※When putting hot contents into the cup, the entire cup will become hot, so be careful not to get burned.

※Keep out of reach of infants and young children in particular.

※When carrying the cup with hot contents inside, be careful not to tip it over and get burned.

※Do not use in a dishwasher as it may scratch the product, peel off the clear coating on the surface, and cause discoloration or peeling of the interior plating. Do not use chlorine bleach or wipe with bleached towels or dishcloths, as this may discolor or peel the interior plating. To prevent discoloration and rust, immediately after use, hand-wash with warm water and a sponge soaked in mild dish detergent. Wipe dry with a dry cloth and allow to dry thoroughly before storing. Leaving salty or acidic stains on the product or storing it in a humid location can cause rust and verdigris. If the exterior discoloration occurs, scrub with a nylon scrubbing brush until the discoloration is gone. However, be careful not to use a hard scrubbing brush, as this may scratch the surface. If verdigris occurs, apply a solution of equal parts vinegar and salt to a cloth and rub it away. Then, hand-wash with mild dish detergent, rinse thoroughly, wipe dry with a dry cloth, and allow to dry thoroughly.
