From Refrigerator to Table: Mashiko Tabletop Pots
We've created Mashiko tabletop pots that add a touch of handcrafted beauty to your dining table. Fill them with pickled plums or other preserved foods and store them in the refrigerator—then simply bring them directly to the table when needed, eliminating the need for additional serving dishes. When the meal is finished, return any leftovers straight to the refrigerator.
These conveniently sized pots are perfect for table use; we recommend using different colours to distinguish contents such as various pickles or condiments.

Crafted in Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture—Known as a Folk Craft Village
Made in collaboration with Inoue Pottery, which produces everyday vessels in Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture—a region renowned for folk crafts. The interior features Mashiko's distinctive 'kaki-yu' (persimmon glaze), traditionally used for roof tiles and water jars due to its excellent water resistance and durability.

Wavering Character Created by Dual Glazes
By applying two different glazes traditionally used in Mashiko, we've created pottery with a naturally variable character. Each pot features contrasting colour combinations—'celadon and black', 'rice-hull white and amber', or 'black and rice-hull white'—designed to blend unpredictably for unique expressions.

Ideal for Colour-Coding Contents
With a capacity of approximately 125ml, these modestly sized pots have a diameter of about 7.5cm, creating a streamlined shape that fits comfortably in one hand. Beyond pickled plums, they're perfect for storing condiments or rice seasonings. Their table-friendly size makes them ideal for organizing different contents by colour—pickles in one, condiments in another.
