This set includes a tokkuri (sake flask), ochoko (sake cup), and small bowl, all crafted in Nabeshima celadon by Kosen Kiln.
The sake vessels draw inspiration from a ""Coloured Landscape with Bamboo and Birds Scalloped Large Plate"" from Jingdezhen, China – pieces that Nabeshima domain artisans were commissioned to recreate in the 1640s to master advanced techniques. The exterior form isn't merely striped decoration, but three-dimensional embossed expression of the scalloped cross-section.
Nabeshima celadon, created using rare celadon glaze made from natural celadon minerals, achieves jade-like beauty that transforms each sake moment into a luxurious experience.
