Philippe Weisbecker, an artist and illustrator based in Paris and Barcelona, captivates audiences with his distinctive perspective, expressive linework, and geometric forms that somehow radiate unexpected warmth. We've created these Imari ware soba cups featuring his illustrations of zodiac-themed folk toys. The crisp design showcases blue lines against white porcelain, creating a clean, striking contrast.

Handling Precautions

  • Always wash with cold or lukewarm water before first use.
  • This material is vulnerable to sudden temperature changes. Pouring hot water suddenly into a cold vessel or immersing a hot vessel in cold water may cause breakage.
  • Microwave safe.
  • Avoid use on direct flame or in ovens.
  • Dishwasher safe, but hand washing each piece individually is recommended to extend the life of the vessels.
  • Wash with a soft sponge as scrubbing hard with abrasive cleaners, cleansers, or metal scrubbers may scratch the surface.
  • After washing, wipe with a soft dry cloth and store after drying thoroughly in a well-ventilated place.
  • Be careful of chipping from strong impacts and handle with care.
  • Stop using if cracks or fissures appear for safety reasons.
