Yoshino cedar and cypress from Nara Prefecture are counted among Japan's three great forests.
Yoshino forestry is characterised by ""dense planting,"" ""pruning (maintenance),"" and ""selective thinning (utilisation)"" – practices that produce timber with tight annual rings, near-perfect circular growth, straight grain, and exceptional quality, establishing the prestigious Yoshino timber brand.
Using thinned timber from these Yoshino forests, we've created trays as accessible ""Yoshino brand"" lifestyle goods that showcase this heritage more broadly.
These simply designed trays celebrate the natural beauty of Yoshino cedar's grain patterns.
Each piece is carefully handcrafted, making full use of the skilled techniques of Kawakami Village artisans.

- Please do not use dishwashers, dryers or microwaves.
- Please do not use in refrigerators.
- Soak a soft sponge in mild kitchen detergent and wash with lukewarm or cold water.
- Do not put in hot water.
- Please note that leaving it in water may cause the wood to soften and deform or crack.
- Do not use a scrubbing brush or abrasive powder as it may scratch the surface.
- Avoid soaking the product. After washing, wipe with a soft, dry cloth and dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight before storing.
- Please avoid using or storing near fire, in wet or dry places, in direct sunlight, or in places directly exposed to air conditioning or heating, as this may cause discoloration, deformation, or corrosion.
- Please use the product correctly according to its intended use and intended purpose.
- Please be careful not to subject the product to strong impacts as this may cause deformation or damage.
- As this is a natural material, the texture and scent of the wood will change over time. Please enjoy it as one of the changes that occur over time.
- There may be individual differences in the grain and color of the wood, but please enjoy the different expressions of each piece.
