Highly Absorbent, Quick-Drying
These dishcloths are made by sewing together two layers of kaya-ori, a specialty fabric from Nara Prefecture. With its loose weave, large size, and thin profile, this cloth offers excellent absorption when folded and dries quickly when hung out flat—making it remarkably practical.

Designed for Longevity
We use natural cotton and ramie fibres that actually strengthen when damp. This choice reflects our wish for these cloths to serve you for many years to come. With repeated washing, they develop an increasingly soft and gentle texture. They become fluffier with use and will remain faithful companions until completely worn out.

Beyond Wiping: A Versatile Companion for Daily Life
Beyond dishcloths, these versatile pieces can wrap lunch boxes, strain broth, absorb moisture from vegetables, and serve numerous other purposes. We invite you to discover how they best complement your own lifestyle.

Care Instructions for Lasting Use
1. Removing Initial Starch: New Hana Fukin cloths contain starch. If using as dishcloths, please rinse with lukewarm water to remove the starch before first use. The fabric will gradually become softer to the touch with use, improving its absorbency. 2. Washing: We recommend hand washing with a neutral kitchen detergent. If machine washing, please use a mesh laundry bag and a liquid detergent without optical brighteners, washing gently. 3. Sterilisation and Bleaching: For stains that don't come out through normal washing, special care treatments are available: ●Sterilisation: Add a small amount of salt and vinegar to water, bring to a boil, then immerse the cloth for about 5 minutes. ●Bleaching: The White Lily colour can withstand both chlorine and oxygen-based bleaches. For all other colours, please use only oxygen-based bleaches.
