The kensui is a tea utensil used for discarding water after cleansing the tea bowl.
We've stripped away all decoration to create a minimal form you'll never tire of using. Crafted from copper, the material develops rich, deeper tones through use.

Handling Precautions

  • After adding hot water, the main body becomes hot. Be very careful to avoid burns.
  • Before first use and after each use, wash with neutral detergent using a soft sponge and dry thoroughly.
  • Do not use metal scrubbers or abrasive powders.
