Handling Precautions

  • Avoid soaking. Wash with lukewarm water or a soft sponge with neutral kitchen detergent, then wipe with a soft cloth.
  • Cannot be used in dishwashers.
  • Avoid use in refrigerator, direct sunlight, and storage in dry places.
  • Do not use steel wool or rough-surfaced sponges.
  • As this uses natural materials and is handcrafted one by one by artisans, there are individual variations in color and texture.

A kitchen companion designed for easy gripping

These are domestically produced bamboo chopsticks, which are rare in Japan. They are made from Kyushu's Moso bamboo and handcrafted one by one in Kumamoto.
The clean appearance created by using the bamboo nodes gives them a comfortable texture that blends into everyday life.

Grips soft objects without crumbling them

Bamboo chopsticks are lightweight and easy to handle, and because they are flexible, they are easy to apply force and grip. The tips of the chopsticks are square and non-slip. The handles are chamfered so that you can grip soft ingredients such as tofu and stews without crumbling them.
