Handling Precautions

  • This product is suitable for indoor cleaning.
  • A cord is attached to the handle end, so hang it for storage when not in use. If left standing with the bristles touching the floor, they will develop a permanent bend and become difficult to sweep with.
  • As natural palm fiber is used, powder and palm fibers may fall off initially. If bothersome, place newspaper underneath and shake off the broom powder and palm fibers thoroughly before use.
  • If the copper wire breaks, stop using immediately as it may cause injury.
  • As this is a handmade product, size and shape may vary slightly.
  • As a characteristic of natural fibers, the bristle tips may curl when dry. If bothersome, dampen slightly and dry before use. You can also trim the bristle tips with your own scissors.
  • After use, store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
  • For heavy soiling, use neutral detergent. After washing, comb through with a coarse comb and dry in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.

A palm and leather table broom that can be used quickly around the house

This palm broom is made by Broom Craft in their workshop in Wakayama. The stiff and resilient palm leaves are carefully selected to catch fine dust and allow you to quickly clean tables and shelves.

A compact broom that can be used quietly and quickly whenever you need it.

There are many places in the house that you want to clean quickly when you notice them, such as tables where breadcrumbs tend to fall, children's desks that get dirty easily with eraser shavings, around electrical appliances such as televisions that tend to accumulate dust before you know it, shelves that are difficult to clean, and gaps in window frames that tend to collect garbage... That's where a compact broom comes in handy. A broom that doesn't use electricity and doesn't make noise is a great way to quickly take it out and clean when you notice it. Carefully selected palm trees that are firm and resilient are moderately flexible and contain oils themselves, allowing them to collect dust without stirring it up. The fibers of the broom bend and move naturally along the grooves of flooring, tatami mats, baseboards, and window frames, so it can catch dust in small gaps. To care for the broom, simply brush off the dust on the bristles after each use. Since it is made of the same material as a scrubbing brush, it can be washed with a neutral detergent if it gets very dirty. (*If this is the case, after washing, comb it with a wide-toothed comb and dry it in a well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight. Also, do not get the copper wire wet as this may cause it to rust.)

The leather used gives it a unique look with use.

Broom Craft brooms are made from carefully selected, long, firm palm material. The handles are wrapped in leather, and the texture changes with prolonged use. The original design, which is currently under design registration (as of June 2024), blends in with modern interiors. Its appearance makes you want to keep it out in a place where you can use it right away.
