Nakagawa Wind Chimes: Experience Each Kogei Region's Character Through Sound and Presence. Takaoka City in Toyama Prefecture has been crafting metalwork since the Edo period. This wind chime utilises the "orin" (singing bowl) techniques from Takaoka copperware, renowned for Buddhist altar fittings. Using a specially formulated copper alloy designed for optimal sound quality, combined with a wooden striker, it creates a clear yet gentle resonance.
