Three functions: storage, reheating, and serving dish.
Many people use plastic storage containers for meals for family members who come home late, single-person dining, or storing leftover dishes and prepared foods, often serving them directly to the table. But what we really want is to transfer food to attractive dishes and create a relaxing dining atmosphere. With this in mind, we created these Hasami-yaki storage bowls that serve three purposes: storage, reheating, and serving.

【After Use】
  • Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for longevity. Be careful not to overcrowd as this can cause breakage.
  • Wash with a soft sponge as scrubbing hard with abrasive cleaners or metal scrubbers may cause scratches.
  • Avoid soaking and after washing, wipe with a soft dry cloth and store in a well-ventilated area after thorough drying.
【Other Notes】
  • Please note that this is not completely airtight.
  • Be careful of chipping or cracking from strong impacts.
  • Stop using if cracks or fissures appear for safety reasons.
  • Crazing may develop with use, but this does not affect functionality - please enjoy it as part of the product's character.

Three functions: storage, reheating, and tableware

For families who come home late or for those living alone, or for storing leftover food or dishes, many people use plastic storage containers and end up serving them directly on the table. However, in reality, we want to transfer the food to beautiful tableware and create a relaxing dining experience. With this in mind, we created Hasami ware storage containers that serve three purposes: storage, reheating, and tableware.

"Co-firing" increases airtightness even without gaskets

To achieve the high airtightness required for storage containers, Hasami was chosen as the production area. The material used is porcelain with low breathability and water absorption, and it was fired using a technique called "co-firing" at a dough manufacturer in Hasami with one of the highest molding precision. Co-firing, which is used in the manufacture of teapots, etc., suppresses the difference in clay shrinkage that occurs during firing by firing the lid and body together, making it possible to minimize gaps.

If the container has a lid, the range of uses will increase.

The fact that it has a lid means you don't have to take the trouble of wrapping it in plastic wrap, which is nice. It also cuts down on waste, which makes you feel a little kinder.

Versatile tableware design

Of course, it's sized for easy use as tableware. The lid can be used as a plate. Keep salads and other dishes chilled in the refrigerator until just before eating, then bring directly to the table. Even when not storing in the refrigerator, having a lid is convenient as it protects from dust. Its beautiful presence makes it suitable for leaving out as a confectionery bowl. Using the lid like a tea saucer creates a different atmosphere to enjoy.
