This Hasami-yaki small plate functions as a grater and maintains an appearance suitable for bringing directly to the dining table.
We developed it to help you easily incorporate ingredients like ginger and garlic into your dining—ingredients that enhance dish flavours with just a small addition. Made from porcelain for high strength, multiple triangular teeth are arranged radially so it's easy to grate from any direction. Please enjoy the rich, expressive clay and the unique character each piece develops through the variations in glaze application.
Depth: 9.5cm
Height: 2cm
【Before Use】
- Always wash with water or lukewarm water before use.
【During Use】
- Avoid sudden heating and cooling as it is vulnerable to rapid temperature changes. This may cause breakage.
【After Use】
- Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for longevity.
- Be careful not to overcrowd as this can cause breakage.
- Wash with a soft sponge as scrubbing hard with abrasive cleaners or metal scrubbers may cause scratches.

【Important Notes】
- Do not use for purposes other than intended.
- The grating surface is sharp, so be very careful to avoid injury.

- Stop using if cracks or fissures appear for safety reasons.
- Crazing (fine surface cracks) may develop with use, but this does not affect functionality and can be enjoyed as part of the item's character.
- As this is handcrafted, there may be individual variations in color, shape, and pattern.
